St Thomas à Becket Church, Capel
Heritage Open Day: St Thomas a` Becket Church is a Grade I listed church with medieval wall paintings. Members of The Friends of Capel Church will be there to help explain the wall paintings. Also on display will be all the burial record books for both the old and new churchyard. The newly uncovered and restored Victorian churchyard to the west of the church holds over 700 graves and is now accessible to look round. Christine Langridge will be there all weekend to help you find your ancestors&rs
