Clitheroe Town Trail
Heritage Open Day: Clitheroe is an ancient market town, with charters dating back to the late 13th century. However, more recent high street history will be the theme of our family-friendly trail around the town centre with questions to be answered from photographs, documents and memorabilia in shop window displays. The street life focus will culminate in Clitheroe's Town Crier being in residence at the Town Hall on Sunday afternoon with tales of broadcasting the news down the centuries -
