Whalley Parish Church
Heritage Open Day: Visit this 13th Century, Grade I listed parish church, with some of the finest woodwork in the North West, including the famous Whalley misericords and 'Cage'. There will be tours of the ringing chamber and opportunity to hear the peal of eight bells being rung. A special childrens' trail based on the many animals depicted in the woodwork and stained glass will be available, along with 'Green Man' face painting .
