Parish Church of St John the Baptist
Heritage Open Day: Although rather ordinary from the outside, the Parish Church of St John the Baptist, Tuebrook, is dazzling. Jenkins describes this church as G.F. Bodley's masterpiece, and the interior decoration earned the building Grade I listed status. Designed and built between 868 and 1870, the Parish Church of St John the Baptist includes architectural and decorative contributions from William Morris, Edward Burne-Jones, Anton Dapre, and Ninian Comper.
