St.Marys, Grassendale

Heritage Open Day: Our church was built by the wealthy merchants who lived in Cressington Park in 1854. It has an unusual 19th century timbered roof believed to be one of the earliest examples of its kind in the North West. This construction means we have no internal columns inside the building.
