St James’s Church, New Brighton

Heritage Open Day: A mid Victorian gothic revival building, designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott, currently undergoing major restoration works. As part of these works, the spire, the tallest in Wirral, has recently been rebuilt (completed in April). The building will also be open on other days as it now houses the New Brighton Heritage Centre.
