Heritage Open Day: A guided walk around historic Hunmanby. With Scandinavian origins and the site of a Norman motte and bailey castle, as well as having an 11th century church, the large village of Hunmanby has plenty to offer. Join George Sheeran for a stroll around this traditional wolds escarpment farming village, with its distinctive chalk and brick older buildings, many of which were originally single storey and thatched. See if you can spot how many roofs have been raised!
