Hunmanby Heritage Day: Wrangham House
Heritage Open Day: A Grade II listed Georgian house, the property was built as a vicarage for Hunmanby and surrounding villages. It was occupied in the late 18th and early 19th centuries by Archdeacon Francis Wrangham. Visit this building and explore the tranquil secluded gardens. Wrangham was a notable literary figure, abolitionist and social reformer. An avid bibliophile, he built a new wing, now the hotel dining room, to house his large personal library.
