St Wilfred's Church, Burnsall
Heritage Open Day: St Wilfrid's history goes right back to its foundation by St Wilfrid of Ripon before 700AD. Although most of the building has been rebuilt over the years, there are parts that go back many centuries. St Wilfrid's is a Grade I listed church in perpendicular style. The font dates from an original Norman church, and the current Lady Chapel in the South Chantry was built in the 12th century.
