Melverley Church Visit and Talk
Heritage Open Day: Set in beautiful countryside on the banks of the river Vyrnwy, a rare example of early English churches. A black and white barn like building constructed of timber, wattle and daub.
Features: a Saxon font, a Jacobean pulpit and lectern with chained bible. A gallery and Charles Kempe stained glass East window.
Walks along the riverside and the Severn Way.
Groups are welcomed and history talks available on request.
