Heritage Open Day: Historic Miners Hall (built in 1912). Trade Union Banners on display as well as Mining Union artefacts, literature & memorabilia. 150th Anniversary of worst English Mining Disaster. Displays, lectures, pictures and overview of project to build a fitting and suitable Memorial to all the victims of the disaster officially declared as 361.
