Heritage Open Day: See Jesse Shirley’s 1857 Bone & Flint Mill driven by a 1820s beam engine operating 12.30pm to 4.30pm starting on the hour. Experience the atmosphere of a Victorian factory, find out how the engine is started, feel the heat from our 1903 Cornish boiler, talk to our engineers and find out how the mill has been restored and is operated.
See a display of vintage stationary engines on the Saturday and classic cars, buses, commercial vehicles and motor cycles on the Sunday.
