St John the Baptist Church

Heritage Open Day: Medieval Parish Church 1130-1450, with some very interesting features including glass dating from 1400-1950, anchorites squint, old font cover and pulpit, two unusual First World War Memorials, Mousie Thompson choirstalls and tower and bells. There will be informal guided tours and free information leaflets available during Heritage Open Days. St John's also hosts the Greek Orthodox Church of St Anthony the Great. There will be a manned display to reflect this.

Thu 8 Sep:1000-1600. Fri 9 Sep:1000-1600. Sat 10 Sep:1000-1600. Sun 11 Sep:1530-1615 Choral Evensong. Free Entry.
