St Columba's United Reformed Church

Heritage Open Day: This Grade II listed building was designed by renowned local architect John Dobson, and opened in 1857. The foundation stone was laid on 20 October 1856 by William Shaw Lindsay, Independent MP for Tynemouth, and the first sermon was preached by Dr John Kerr of Glasgow.
