St Hilda's Colliery
Heritage Open Day: St Hilda’s Headstock is one of the last remaining buildings in the former Durham Coalfield.
Visitors are invited to come and see the plans for the building, which has received funding from Heritage Lottery Fund and Architectural Heritage Fund, to renovate the building into workspace for creative start ups and will incorporate mining interpretation at the pit head.
