Heritage Open Day: This temporary exhibition explores the lives of Sunderland's Bangladeshi Community who hailed from Saidpur and Sylhet districts of Bangladesh. The exhibition contains photographs, ephemera and oral histories, looking at the differences in language, culture, religion and everyday life - the project also reveals the common humanity that has enabled the community to live and prosper in Sunderland.
