Princethorpe College
Heritage Open Day: St Mary's Priory was the first monastery to be constructed in England following the Reformation. From 1833 until 1966 it was home to a congregation of enclosed Benedictine nuns who ran a boarding school for girls. This community sold the priory in 1966 and a new school was opened by the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart, who moved their establishment, St Bede's College, from Leamington to Princethorpe. It is now a fully co-educational Catholic Independent day school
