St Margaret's Church Tower, Great Barr
Heritage Open Day: Visitors will be able to visit the belfry and watch ringers ringing. Informal talks will be available about ringing and about the bells at Great Barr, which were cast in 1796 and are inscribed with the names of the Scott family, who donated the bells to the church. The Scott family lived at the now derelict Great Barr Hall, situated in the valley south of the church (an English Heritage site).
