Royds Mount Building, Huddersfield Grammar School
Heritage Open Day: A chance to visit the Grade II Listed Royds Mount Building, now developed as Huddersfield Grammar School, an independent day school for children aged 4 to 16 years.
The site was constructed by the Crosland Family and become home to the Crowther Family in 1862. The Gothic Revival style building became St David's Boarding School in the 1930s and many historic features remain in situ.
The Civic Society selected the St David's Building as 'The Best New Developm
