Reimagined: the Cycling Revolution Around 1900: New Paintings by Patrick Hallissey
Heritage Open Day: Drawing inspiration from Trowbridge Museum’s collection of photography, Cloth Road artist Patrick Hallissey has created a series of vibrant paintings reimagining scenes around cycling at the turn of 1900. Reimagined also tells the story of how the new freedom of movement brought about by the bicycle influenced society, from fashion to visual culture.
