St Helen's Church, History Day, Worcester
Heritage Open Day: St. Helen's has always held a special place amongst the parish churches of Worcester. It may even be an older Christian site than the cathedral. Architecturally it has seen many changes and additions over the centuries, culminating in a major Victorian restoration. However, it remains a good example of how the city churches of Worcester would have looked in the Middle Ages, as a number of the others were substantially rebuilt or altered in the Georgian era.
