Our October lecture is Durer, Genius of the Northern Renaissance by Eveline Eaton. Albrecht Durer - arguably the most important Germanic artist ever - was not only an exceptional painter and draughtsman, he was also the first to write on art theory in the German language.
Lectures begin at 11.00, with coffee and tea available from 10.15-10.45. Non-members are very welcome, no need to book (suggested donation £8).
