‘Chasing the Light’ A series of romantic landscapes with paintings and photography.
Julia has recently appraised her work and realised that the majority of her paintings created are bathed in a ‘half-light’. This soft, subdued light of early dawn or dusk, partially obscures the landscape lending itself to an ethereal, almost haunting quality which appeals to her immensely, capturing her imagination whilst creating these stunning impressionist paintings of the romantic northern landscape.
