Literature: Autobiography - Fact & Fiction
WEA Adult Education Course - This course will look at how autobiography is a selective and subjective story. We will first study Rousseau's Confessions which partly set the template for what we now regard as autobiography. Later in the course we will look at a fictional/ironic autobiography, Orlando. The third book is yet to be decided, but may be The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath or A Lie about My Father by John Burnside.
Start time: Tue 10:00. 10 sessions until 28/03/2017. Standard fee: £86.10. For information and bookings see website or telephone: 0800 328 1050.
