Victorian Depictions of Women in Art and Literature - Day School

WEA Adult Education Course - The Victorians were much more interested in sex and eroticism than people think. It wasn't explicit, but implied, making it all the more rewarding and interesting to study. Our journey will be from the poems and art of Rossetti, to the buttoned-up heroines of Hardy's novels, and lots in between.
