WEA Adult Education Course - From Cathy's ghost in 'Wuthering Heights' to Dickens' The Mystery of Edwin Drood', and Henry James' 'The Turn of the Screw' the uncanny has played an important role in literature. This course looks at a selection of stories that feature unusual happenings and examines the function and purpose of the supernatural.
