History: The Bourbons

WEA Adult Education Course - The Bourbons are one of the most important ruling houses of Europe. Of French origin, they descend from Louis I, Duke of Bourbon, a grandson of Louis IX, (1226-1270). They have provided monarchs for France, Spain and a number of Italian states.
