Talk - Before TV: what did Victorians and Edwardians look at in their leisure time?

Ros Clow has been leading the History Group of the Friends of Newtown Road Cemetery since 2009 www.fnrcnewbury.org.uk/ . The group’s research has shed light on local life. Painters, authors, archaeologists, ministers, masons, horticulturalists, all made their contributions to the richness of life. Many are now forgotten. This talk by Ros Clow will bring back to life some of these characters from West Berkshire’s past.
