Sinfonia of Birmingham Autumn Concert
Join the Sinfonia of Birmingham at its Autumn concert on Saturday 12th November 2016 at Shirley Methodist Church (B90 3AL)
This concert includes Luciano Berio's arrangements of folk music and other songs, being a tribute to the extraordinary artistry of the American singer Cathy Berberian, to whom he was married.
The concert continues with Mahler's 'Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen' (Songs of a Wayfarer), a song cycle on his own texts, influenced by Des Knaben Wunderho
