The Cecilia Consort : Remembrance

Our autumn concert will include the hauntingly atmospheric Requiem by Manuel Cardoso, and a serene setting of the medieval anthem 'Take him, earth, for cherishing' by Herbert Howells, composed following the death of John F Kennedy.

In the beautiful church of Douai Abbey, with its famous resonant acoustic, this will be an evening to remember.
