Cotswold Decorative & Fine Arts Society November Lecture
Lars Tharp will be the CDFAS November lecturer speaking on “Hogarth, Harlots, Rakes and Crashing China. With his observational genius and humour, Hogarth’s paintings are ‘snapshots’ of his world. Within his paintings he captures the ceramics used at that time, right up to the very eve of the Wedgwood revolution. Lars Tharp is well known from his work with the BBC on the 'Antiques Roadshow' and other programmes.
Lectures begin at 11.00am with coffee from 10.15-10.45. Non-members are welcome (suggested donation £8).
