Music, Words and Song for Christmas. Carols, ballads, consort music, lutesongs, dance melodies and readings.
A seasonal programme following the calendar from Advent to Candlemas, showing how Christmas was celebrated, banned and restored in 17th Century England.
Includes music by Attey, Dowland, Gibbons, Locke, Purcell and Wilson.

All concerts at St Andrew's Church, Church Lane, Marks Tey, CO6 1LW
Doors open 2pm, concerts begin 2.30pm followed by tea/coffee & biscuits (donations to church funds) and chat with performers.
