Cheltenham Choral Society:Antonio Vivaldi Gloria and Magnificat. English Concertante Orchestra.
Cheltenham Choral Society will be performing three baroque choral pieces for their winter concert: Antonio’s Vivaldi’s Gloria (RV589) and his Magnificat (RV610) together with Purcell’s’ O God, Thou Art my God’.
Accompanying them will be the English Concertante Orchestra, Leader Ben Hall, with the continuo played by Neil Fortin. They will be joined by soloists Hannah Davey, soprano, and Emily Rogers, mezzo Soprano. The conductor is Ian Higginson.
