The Midland and Great Northern Railway in Lincolnshire
Evening Talk organised by the SLHA and presented by Nigel Digby.This joint railway was formed in 1893 by the amalgamation of a number of smaller lines to provide the owners with access to East Anglia, particularly its ports and coastal holiday destinations. The speaker, who has specialised in the M&GN since the 1980’s, will show the stations and structures encountered on the line and cover the traffic and working in south Lincolnshire.
Admission is FREE for SLHA members. Non members welcome £3.00 admission.
