The forests and woodlands have always played a very important part in the lives of the people and communities who have lived, and still live around or near them today. People have enjoyed the celebration of midwinter for thousands of years and now this ancient pagan festival has become an important part of our modern Christmas celebrations.
Come and join us outside in the forest to hear stories, myths and beliefs about Midwinter. There will be poems and carol singing around some of the trees
