People’s History Museum hosts the Politics Project conference

The Politics Project is organising a conference at the People’s History Museum in Manchester that will connect secondary school teachers with the best academics and the most innovative practitioners in political and values education. The one-day event takes place on Wednesday 25 January 2017 and will feature a full day of workshops and talks. Speakers include Dr Andrew Mycock, senior politics lecturer at the University of Huddersfield, who will be Navigating a Political Landscape in his talk. The Foundation for Peace will be leading a discussion around Managing Difficult Discussions in the Classroom. Whilst Student-led solutions is the topic for Alison Hall, Head of Government and Politics at Xaverian College. And a roundtable discussion will explore best practice with leading academics and education experts.
