Exeter Symphony Orchestra - The Battle of the Somme

Exeter Symphony Orchestra present one of 100 performances across the UK of a showing of the 1916 film - The Battle of the Somme - with music specially commissioned by the Imperial War Museum and composed by Devon born Laura Rossi. A short introductory talk by a member of staff from the IWM will also explain the background to the making of the film and its impact. This is a unique event and early booking is strongly advised.
