Bugsy Malone - BAFTA exhibition

The Williamson Art Gallery celebrate forty years since the making of Alan Parker’s film BUGSY MALONE with a photographic touring exhibition from BAFTA with images from behind the scenes by David Appelby.

Inspired by gangster films of the 40s, Bugsy Malone brought to life with a cast of 200 children, the film marked a renewed confidence in British cinema. The film was nominated for 9 BAFTAs, winning 5 in 1977. Open from 10-17:00 from Wed - Sun. Free entry but donations welcomed
