Lunch as you Listen! ‘When Worlds Collide’ – at Shrewsbury’s Lion Hotel.

Classical accordionist Bartosz Glowacki and Robert Luft on electric guitar will present a Lunchtime Concert at the Lion Hotel, Shrewsbury as part of Shropshire Music Trust’s on-going Music Season and supported by the Countess of Munster Scheme. Director of Shropshire Music Trust, Kate Hogwood said: “It’s a fascinating programme including Scarlatti, Sofia Gubaidulini, JS Bach and Arvo Pärt exploring the unique captivating sound world of this unusual combination of instruments from baroque and classical to the music of today. Bartosz’ broad career encompasses the Proms, Royal Festival Hall and the Open Space Scheme at Aldeburgh and evidences his passion as an ambassador for his instrument. Rob is an award-winning rising star on the jazz scene and has played with the likes of Django Bates and Loose Tubes. The Bar is open from 11.00 and Lunch is available from 12.00 -do please arrive early if you want to take to take lunch into the concert School Parties are most welcome”
