Charity Garden Open Day: Aultgowrie Mill
Aultgowrie Mill is an 18th century converted water mill set in gardens, river and woodlands of 13 acres. Features include a wooded island, a half acre wildflower meadow and a wildlife pond, all with outstanding views of the surrounding hills. The maturing gardens have terraces, lawns, two mixed orchards and raised vegetable beds with glasshouse and a third mile river walk. BBC Beechgrove Garden featured this garden in July 2014.
