Charity Garden Open Day: Crarae Garden

Crarae is a rugged woodland garden which has a spectacular display of rhododendrons in May and June, a narrow gorge with waterfalls, pools, and varied wildlife from red squirrels and pine martens to otters. Above the garden is the forest garden, a very wild area which was planted in the 1930s as an experiment. This area now has stands of fine tall trees in a unique wild setting and is not open to the public. Directions: On A83 ten miles south of Inveraray.
