Charity Garden Open Day: Lowood House
Entry beside Lowood Bridge, past a tiny lodge then a half mile drive through a small wood and park. Lowood House sits on the south bank of the Tweed and has been added to over the years in a somewhat haphazard fashion. South of the house is a large garden with some nice shrubs, trees and a lot of roses, including climbing and rambling roses. Features are a sunken garden, woodland walk, a walk through the park by the lochan, a river walk, a secret garden and a walled garden mainly used as a kitch
2:00pm-6:00pm. £4.00, accompanied children free. Proceeds to Scottish Motor Neurone & SG Beneficiaries
