Charity Garden Open Day: Stockarton

This charming garden was started in 1994. The aim has been to create small informal gardens around a Galloway farmhouse, leading down to a lochan, where there are a number of unusual small trees and shrubs. In 1996 a small arboretum of oak, including some very rare ones, was planted as a shelter belt. Directions: On B727 Kirkcudbright to Gelston Road. Kirkcudbright three miles, Gelston 5 miles.

2:00pm-5:00pm. £4.00, accompanied children free. Proceeds to Friends of Loch Arthur Community & SG Beneficiaries
