Heavens Eyes
Three youngsters run away from their children’s home and sail down the River Tyne on a makeshift raft. Stuck on the mudflats, they meet a strange girl who lives with an old man, Grampa. The girl has a secret only Grampa knows… and he’s not telling.
Adapted for the stage by internationally acclaimed children’s author David Almond (Skellig), Heaven Eyes is a poetic but gritty story about young people trying to find their way in the world. Mysterious, heart-breaking and humorous in equal measure
