Chorley Branch LFHHS - MARCH Branch Meeting

Tonight is our AGM, which will be kept as short as possible. Anyone wishing to put themselves forward as a committee member will be appreciated.

To be followed by our speaker for the evening, Joseph O’Neill, who will tell us about THE SCUTTLERS (Gangs of Manchester). You may know of The Peaky Blinders from the TV series, but in late Victorian
Manchester and Salford, they were preceded by neighbourhood gangs who terrorised the cities. We will hear more about them tonight.

Refreshments will be available following the talk, drinks and biscuit for 50p.
Raffle tickets are 50p each, and items offered as raffle prizes are always welcome.

If you are interested in family history, come and meet branch members, and find out what membership of the LFHHS offers. Application forms to join the Society will be available, please just ask.
