Thomas Pennant was a Welsh naturalist and traveller who wrote illustrated books on British, Arctic and Indian ecology, though he never actually travelled to the Arctic or India! He did however visit Skye and the Dun Beag Broch, during his second tour of Scotland in 1771. Booking essential.
