Swamp Land: Brymbo 300 Million Years Ago

Discover Brymbo’s amazing window into the deep past. Beautifully preserved plant fossils will help you imagine what it was like in the otherworldly landscape of a 300 million year old coal swamp; the home of giant insects and monster mosses…

Dedicated exclusively to the story of the Brymbo Fossil Forest, this exhibition is a partnership between Wrexham Museums, Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales and the Brymbo Heritage Group.

Wrexham Museum opening times:
Monday - Friday, 10am - 5pm
Saturday 11am - 4pm
Closed Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Admission free.
