Song Yige

First exhibition outside of Asia from female Chinese painter Song Yige. Known for her figurative oils on canvas, Song depicts everyday objects and anonymous characters alongside subjects from the natural world, including leopards, birds and cacti. Themes of human emotion underpin the work, with a sense of loneliness inhabiting much of Song’s practice. Empty interiors, solitary objects and faceless people are enveloped by vast space - a representation of the human experience of living and coexist

Admission Free. Monday - Friday: 10am - 5.30pm. Saturday: 10am - 4pm.
