Footprint - Scandinavian Shrink Pot Carving
Create a natural pot from greenwood, using the shrinkage of the tree as it dries out to create a sealed pot. Work with the natural properties of greenwood by hollowing out a section of branch. Carefully carve a base out of dried wood and then use a technique so that as the green wood dries it shrinks to fit the base. Traditionally carved in Eastern Europe and Scandinavia, this is an interesting introduction to green wood crafts. Kettle always on the boil and unlimited biscuits! Booking Essenti
