Richard Navarro (in conjunction with Wiltshire Rural Arts)

Evocative and uplifting, the music of Richard Navarro takes the folk traditions of melody and storytelling and supercharges them through live looping and improvisation.
As regular tour support for Joan Armatrading, 2015 saw Richard and bassist Nicholas Thurston tour England and Scotland.
The songs – mostly co-written with his double bassist Nicholas Thurston – combine lyricism and sharp social commentary with lush violins, infectious bass lines, trumpets, keyboards and a sprinkling of percus
